ICBS
These docs follow ICBS: Install, Connect, Build, then Share. That is the path from a running Istari Digital Platform to governed collaboration on engineering work.
Each top-nav section opens with an Introduction that states what you will do there. Use the table below to pick a starting point; you do not have to read every section in order if the platform is already running.
| Step | What you accomplish | Start here |
|---|---|---|
| Install | Stand up the control plane, put agents on hosts, install the CLI, and prove each agent with Open Text. | Install |
| Connect | Add modules for the engineering tools you use, register third-party applications, and bring Resources onto the platform. | Connect |
| Build | Run work in the web app, from Python, or with an AI assistant. | Build |
| Share | Share Systems and Resources with your team, apply need-to-know and classification, and exchange work with a partner. | Share |
Admin sits after Share: tenants, users, administrator roles, control tags, infosec, agents, and partner connections. Tutorials are hands-on lessons (web app, Python client, Integration SDK).
How to read this site
- New to the product — Stay in Introduction for Key Concepts and Terminology, then follow ICBS from Install.
- Platform already running — Open the section that matches the task: Connect to add a tool, Build to run a job or script, Share to grant access.
- Looking up a fact — Use Key Concepts for the “why,” the section how-tos for the steps, and Tutorials when you want a first walkthrough.
Administrators will bounce between Install (control plane and first agents), Admin (people and policy), and Share (partner connections). That split is by job, not a second product.
