Introduction

Build is where you create and run work on the Istari Digital Platform — in the web app, from Python, or with AI assistants — after the control plane is installed and agents and modules are connected.

Start here if you are a platform user or a developer automating workflows. For agents, modules, and tool catalogues, see Connect. For sharing and access, see Share. Setting up users and control tags is covered in the Administrator Guide; enabling infosec levels for your deployment starts under Install.

What you will find here​

  1. No code (web app) — Run the whole workflow from the browser: register Resources, run jobs, inspect and compare results, version your work, and share it.
  2. Build in Python — The Python Client (istari-digital-client) for scripting and applications with the same capabilities as the web app.
  3. Build with AI — Use Istari AI Chat, connect a coding agent through the Python client and Istari Digital skills, or connect an MCP-compatible client through the hosted MCP Service.
