Connect the CLI to the Customer Portal

Give stari an organization access token so it can download agent and module packages from the Customer Portal. Skip this if you download those packages in the browser, which is the path in Agents and Module deployment.

Install and authenticate the CLI first: Get started.

Create a token​

  1. Sign in at https://portal.istari.app.
  2. Open the profile menu and choose Organization Access Tokens.
  3. Generate Token. Copy the token — it is shown only once.
  4. Copy the Backend API URL from the same page. That is the address stari uses, not the URL you browse.

Store it on the host​

Replace the URL and token with the values you copied:

stari client setup-portal https://backend-portal.example.istari.app "<token>" --yes

JFrog registry tokens (docker login, Helm) are separate — see Customer Portal. The CLI uses the organization access token only.
