Experimental: Infosec Levels

Infosec levels are used to describe access control for classified files. For more details see:

Istari Digital Agent

macOS Support

The Istari Digital Agent now supports macOS with native .pkg installers. This includes:

• Full macOS agent functionality with platform-specific installation paths
• Installation to /Applications/istari_agent with user data in ~/Library/Application Support/istari_agent
• Codesigning and notarization for .pkg installers, eliminating Gatekeeper security blockers

Agent Archiving Support

Agents now support archiving and restoration workflows:

• New ARCHIVED agent state that polls infrequently for archive status changes
• Agent automatically detects when it has been archived and transitions to ARCHIVED state
• Heartbeats are suspended while the agent is archived
• Agent automatically restores to IDLE state when unarchived
• New istari_digital_agent_archive_poll_interval config value to control archive status polling interval

• Updated icons and images to 2025 Istari Digital branding

Istari Digital CLI

Fixes

• Resolved an issue where stari path add would fail when the target directory already existed
• Improved startup performance and faster commmand execution
• Module and Agent install commands now support nested Artifactory repositories

New Features

• Integrated macOS code signing for distributed binaries
• The CLI releases now require both the executable and its _internal package to run. These are all contained in the release zips

• BREAKING CHANGE: When deploying the MCP Service, users must configure it to only use one replica in order for OAuth to properly work

Model-Based Engineering

• Google Workspace Module — Fixed input metadata file link fields in response to schema change by the UI
• Microsoft Office 365 Module — Added UpdateCells and UpdateNamedCells functions for Excel workbook updates
• Open PDF Module — Prevented empty optional artifacts in PDF module and updated display names in module manifest
• 3DEXPERIENCE CATIA Module — Fixed Material and volume not extracting correctly and improved extractMaterialName to prioritize user-friendly material names.
• MATLAB (Base) Module — Fixed encoding mismatch bug; added full Windows-1251 character set support, Improved file handling with UTF-8 encoding for all file operations and removed the line input parameter from the MATLAB module.
