About This Documentation
This guide provides detailed, step-by-step instructions for configuring your Istari installation to securely share models directly with other Istari installations, either within your own enterprise or with external enterprises or partner organizations having their own Istari installation.
By following these instructions, you'll be able to configure your Istari installation for direct communication and model sharing with another Istari installation. If you encounter issues, please reach out to your Istari Customer Success contact.
Assumptions
This guide assumes that you have already installed and deployed the Istari Platform in your Virtual Private Cloud and security perimeter.
These instructions assume the most recent Istari Registry Service version and compatible versions of the Istari Platform and any relevant modules. In addition, any Istari installations that you wish to share models with must also be on latest version of the Istari Platform. See the release notes (linked above under Releases) for the exact component version numbers.
Disclaimer
Customers who configure and use this feature may grant an external recipient access to the selected artifacts. You may revoke access to those artifacts at any time; such revocation will stop access to any new revisions of those artifacts, but will not delete external copies the recipient may have created. You must verify each artifact is correctly marked and labeled per applicable policies and regulations before sharing. Share only with trusted parties and only when required agreements and approvals are in place. By proceeding, you acknowledge and accept all liabilities and risks associated with sharing.
Audience
This documentation is intended for DevOps engineers or IT professionals with system administrator-level access to the Istari data plane storage infrastructure and administrator-level permissions in the Istari system.
Conventions Used in this Guide
Istari version: Replace X.Y.Z with the exact version of the Istari Installation from the Releases link above.
